Terms of Service for Efraim Creations

Last Updated: 11th September 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") outline the agreement between you, the Client, and me, the Artist (known as "I", "me", or "Efraim Creations").

By choosing to commission my services, you’re letting me know that you’ve read, understood, and are on board with all the terms and conditions laid out in this document.

Please note that Swedish law guide the interpretation of these terms.

1. Commission Process

You reach out with your request, and I’ll send you a quote along with an estimated timeline.

If you're happy with the quote, you can choose to pay the full amount or a non-refundable deposit to hold your place in line.

I’ll create an initial sketch for you to review. This is your chance to give feedback, and larger changes can only be made here.

After you approve the sketch, the remaining balance (if any) will be due before I dive into the line art, color, and shading.

I’ll finish up the artwork and keep you updated along the way.

Finally, I’ll send you the high-resolution file of your artwork!

2. Payment

All prices are listed in Euros (€) or Swedish Kronor (SEK), unless we agree on something different in writing.
You can make your payments through PayPal, Swish, or Ko-fi.
For commissions that require a deposit, I will only be moving beyond the approved sketch stage once the remaining balance is settled.

3. Payment Plans

For larger commissions, I also offer payment plans.
To secure your spot, an initial, non-refundable deposit is required, and the remaining balance will be spread out over monthly installments.

Payment plans are available for commissions that meet the following minimum amounts:

  • 6-Month Plan: For commissions of €300+ (6 payments of ~17% each)
  • 3-Month Plan: For commissions of €150+ (3 payments of ~35% each)
  • 2-Month Plan: For commissions of €80+ (2 payments of 50% each)

We’ll agree on all installment dates in writing before payment.
If a payment is more than 7 days late, the plan will be canceled, and the project will be paused until the balance is up to date.
If there’s no communication or payment after 14 days, the commission will be considered abandoned.
All installments of a payment plans are non-refundable.

4. Revisions & Changes

You can request up to 3 major changes during the sketch stage.
This is your chance to suggest big adjustments to the composition, pose, elements, or overall design.
Once you give the thumbs up on the sketch, the options for changes become a bit more limited.

At the finishing stages, I can make up to 5 minor tweaks (like slight color adjustments or fixing small details).
If you want to make *major changes after the sketch is approved, there will be an additional fee starting at €5 per change.
*Major changes might include things like changing a character's species, making significant anatomy adjustments, completely altering the pose, or adding/removing large elements.

5. Refunds & Cancellation

All payments, including deposits, are non-refundable, as they secure your spot in my queue, which I can't offer to others.

In the rare event that I need to cancel the project due to unforeseen circumstances (like illness or emergencies),
I will provide a full refund for any work that hasn't been completed, along with all current Work-in-Progress (WIP) files.

If you decide to cancel:
Before sketch approval, you're welcome to cancel, but please note that the deposit will be forfeited.

After sketch approval or final payment, I can't offer refunds at this stage, as the project is already in progress.
Completed work is also non-refundable.

6. Client Responsibility

By choosing to work with me, you agree to:

  • Share clear, concise, and complete information along with any reference materials before I get started.
  • Keep the lines of communication open by responding to updates and feedback requests in a timely manner.

Friendly Reminder that If I don’t hear back from you for more than 30 (thirty) days after reaching out without prior notice of delayed responses, I’ll consider the commission abandoned.

7. Copyright & Usage Rights

I, Efraim Creations, hold all copyright and intellectual property rights to the artwork created.
I love showcasing my work, so I reserve the right to display, distribute, reproduce, and use the artwork for self-promotion in my portfolio, on social media, and in other promotional materials.

You, as the Client, are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to enjoy the commissioned artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes only (such as using it as a personal social media avatar or printing it for your home).
Please remember to credit me as the artist whenever you display the artwork!

    • Feel free to enjoy it as is, but please don’t alter the artwork without my permission.

    • Keep my signature/logo as is.

I’ll do my best to stick to the agreed timeline.
However, please understand that I can’t be responsible for any delays that might come up due to things outside of my control, such as health issues, technical issues, or unexpected life events.
I promise to keep you updated if any significant delays occur.
